Who operates SparqServe
SparqServe is operated by Syed Saqlain Sayeed. Contact support and the privacy contact at syedsaqlainsayeed@gmail.com. We provide a marketplace connecting customers with independent local service providers called SparqServe Pros.
Information and purposes
We use your name, email and phone number to create and manage your account, verify your email and handle service-related support. We use request titles, descriptions, selected services, offers, fees, job statuses, ratings, payment confirmations and dispute details to match services, administer bookings, address complaints and maintain transaction records. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; passwords are not stored in your public profile.
Location and address
With your device permission, we obtain coordinates and accuracy information to locate services and estimate distance. You can supply or correct the address and confirm the map pin. GPS does not reliably identify a flat or building, and you should check the address before booking. Location and session information may remain in this browser until cleared. Going offline stops new opportunity matching; it does not erase saved locations or job records. We do not implement continuous background tracking in the current website.
Pro profile and location
We also use your organisation name, chosen service categories, approval status, availability, search radius, saved location and offers to match you to jobs. Customers considering your offer see your name, company, message, fees and arrival estimate. Administrators review applications and disputes. Customer addresses are provided to the assigned Pro to deliver the job; do not copy, sell or reuse them for unrelated contact.
Who receives data
Supabase processes authentication and database data; Netlify hosts the website and its functions. Coordinate lookups are sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to obtain an address, and embedded OpenStreetMap maps receive map coordinates and connection information. Opening a Google Maps link sends that location to Google. These providers may process information outside India under their own terms and safeguards. Administrators can access records needed for approvals, complaints and operation. Data may also be disclosed when legally required.
Retention and deletion
Account information is kept while needed to provide your account. Job, payment-confirmation, consent and complaint records may be retained where necessary for resolving disputes, security or legal obligations. We do not promise instant deletion of backups or records that must legally be retained. Ask support for a review of retained data and deletion of information no longer needed. A fixed automated retention schedule has not yet been implemented.
Your choices and requests
You can refuse device location permission and enter an address, correct your booking address, go offline as a Pro, and request access, correction, a copy, deletion or withdrawal of consent by emailing support. We will verify ownership using the registered email, explain any necessary retention, and tell you how withdrawal affects outstanding jobs. You can complain through the same channel and use available statutory remedies. We do not require you to send your password or an arrival code to support.
Safeguards and incidents
The service uses HTTPS, account authentication, database access restrictions and controlled job actions. Access is limited by account ownership and assigned roles. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee that no breach will occur. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly. The operator will investigate, contain incidents and make notifications required by applicable law.
Children and optional uses
New accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. Do not submit children’s information, identification documents, bank credentials, health details or other unnecessary sensitive information in descriptions. Signup consent does not authorise marketing. The current app does not add advertising trackers or sell personal data.
Questions and updates
Email support with the policy name and your question. Material changes will be announced through the service or an account communication where appropriate; fresh consent will be sought when required. These documents do not remove rights provided by applicable law.
